Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder
Hello my beauties!
Whew, what a crazy life it has been! I feel so out of the makeup loop/beauty game. I’ve made some drugstore purchases and just had to review them for all of you.
I have been trying to get my hands on the Wet n Wild highlighters ever since they came out. I tried several times to snag them online and kept checking my local drugstores but never had any luck. Apparently they had not been released in stores during the time I kept checking and just recently released them. When I saw them at Target, I freaked out! There was only one shade there but I snagged it up so fast!
This highlighting powder comes in two shades; Precious Petals and Crown Of My Canopy. Precious Petals was the only one in stock so that is the one I picked up. They retail for $4.99USD I love that Wet n Wild is so inexpensive!
I’ve heard so many amazing things about this highlighting powder but with my past experiences with some of Wet n Wild products, I didn’t expect too much. I will say that so many of their products are so crazy pigmented which surprises me because of their price. I still have favorite blushes from them that I use on a regular basis because I love them so much. I kind of expected this powder to be chalky and have a lot of fall out. When I opened it, I almost didn’t want to use it because the embossing in the product is so pretty! I swatched a corner and was fairly impressed. One swipe didn’t blow me out of the water but it did make me want to try it. In the photo below (excuse my veins),that is just two swipes.
I’m a sucker for highlight so I took my favorite brush to apply my highlight with and went to town. Fallout was minimum and the end results were beautiful! I personally like to use a generous amount of highlighter and this definitely did the trick for me and my liking.
All in all, it was worth waiting to finally get my hands on this baby. I think this shade is a little light for my skin tone and definitely want to get my hands on Crown Of My Canopy to try and see how it looks. For $4.99, you definitely are getting a good quality product that could easily pass for a more expensive highlighter. Way to go Wet n Wild! They’re definitely stepping up their makeup game!
