Soft, pink, & a little romantic

Hello my beauties!
I usually don’t know what I’m doing for my eye makeup until about halfway through my foundation routine.  There are days where I know exactly what I want to do but typically, I just kind of wing it once my foundation is on.  Today I knew I wanted to play around with my new BHCosmetics 120 Eyeshadow Colors 5th Edition Palette.  When I opened it, I was instantly drawn to the pinks and purples.  These are two colors that I don’t normally wear but ever since doing the makeup challenge, I have been wanting to wear more colors outside of my comfort zone.  I am so impressed with this palette especially for the price.  Sure they aren’t as highly pigmentedProcessed with Moldiv as some high end eye shadows but they definitely are buildable so you can achieve that vivid, intense look.  Some of the brighter shadows are ridiculously pigmented and I love that.  Overall though, they are so easy to blend and are buildable.  If you are just starting out with makeup and don’t know where to purchase good eye shadows and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, I highly recommend checking out BHCosmetics.

The products I used to achieve this look are as followed:
Mary Kay Foundation Primer
Milani Eyeshadow Primer
Mary Kay Oil Mattifier
MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Foundation- NC25
Evelyn Iona Concealer- Medium Ivory (ipsy bag)
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores- Translucent (to set my concealer)
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish- Medium Golden
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
NYX Blush- Pinched
Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner- Jet Black
Mary Kay at Play Baked Eyeshadow- Tuxedo (lower lash line)
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
Loreal Brow Stylist Plumper- Transparent (kept my brows natural)
Mary Kay Mineral Highlighting Powder- Pink Stardust (discontinued 😦 )
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream- Prague

Yes I know, this is a lot of products but it didn’t take me all that long to apply.  I think most of my time is spent on my eyes and everything else is just routine.  I used all of my new Brush Love brushes to achieve this look and I’m so excited to do a blog post to review them.  Let’s just say that I am soooo happy about my purchase!

Oops, I forgot to turn it around. Sorry that I posted an upside down image. My daughter took this for me.

Of course I have to share my little surprise that I got in the mail today.  I say surprise because the tracking said it wasn’t supposed to be here until tomorrow but it came today.  Yay!  Tell me that this is not simply gorgeous?!  Ahhh I’m so in love!  I found Royal Couture Inc on Instagram and I purchased a simple gold necklace from them a while ago but when I saw this arm candy, I couldn’t pass it up.  Royal Couture definitely has a new customer in me.  I already have my eye on a few more pretties.

Are there any jewelry and accessory sites that I need to check out?  Who are your favorites??
